• What happens if I can't make it to my scheduled session?

Please contact North County Tutor as soon as possible. Any notice less than six hours is a $10 fee and will be expected to be paid at the next session.  If no notice is given, you will be charged a full session amount. If you miss a scheduled group session, no refund will be applied and the session can not be made up. You may contact North County Tutor about cancellations by phone, text, or email.

North County Tutoring will meet at 709 Sebastian Blvd unit D. NCT is located in the Commerce Center, first south driveway after Fleming St.

• What does my child need to bring?

All students need to come prepared just as they would for school. With pencil , paper, planner and books (regardless of wether they have homework or not). I can go over the daily lesson or help where the student is having trouble if I have their text book.  For summer groups students should bring their novel, writing journal, or flash cards as well as any work that they were asked to complete.

• What if I would like a service I do not see listed?

Just ask! If it is something I have experience with, I will be glad to help. Not all students are the same therefore they do not have the same needs. 

•  How do you handle discipline problems?

I don't! This time is set aside for learning; there is no time for discipline. If a problem arises, I will have to discontinue seeing that student. I have done this a few times in the past due to the fact that I am there to teach and the student should be there to learn.
